FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What types of issues can Journey Therapy help with?

Journey Therapy is a fast-track approach to safely releasing deep-rooted, emotional blocks that impact on your health and emotional wellbeing, including anxiety, unresolved grief, chronic pain and stress related illnesses. In the process you are guided into emotions held in the body, and slowly open into deeper states of awareness, which resemble a mild hypnotic state while always remaining conscious and fully in control.
The processes allow you to accessing subconscious memories to heal emotional and physical issues, leaving you lighter, freer and whole. The experience is profound and the results can be surprising.

What is the length of a session and how many would I need?

Sessions generally last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours, though it is best to set aside a 3-hour window in your schedule to allow for an unhurried experience and post-process integration.
While a single session can produce deep results, I would generally recommend a package of three sessions. The initial process may, for example, create an opening that enables us to work deeper in the subsequent sessions. Ongoing follow-up and integration support are also provided to support your journey.

Is Journey Therapy like counselling?

With the Journey Therapy, the focus is not on talking about an issue. Instead, I facilitate a guided therapeutic process, typically dropping through emotional layers, like peeling away the layers of an onion, to uncover the core underlying memory or traumatic situation. Often people feel like they have let go of a burden they had been carrying around for years in a single session.

Can I use the Journey Process in conjunction with other therapies?

The Journey method is a powerful inner process that can complement other therapeutic approaches by deepening emotional insight and supporting holistic healing. While it integrates well alongside many modalities, individuals with diagnosed mental health conditions are encouraged to consult their healthcare provider before beginning, to ensure it aligns safely with their current treatment plan.
